About
Suniko is a photographer from Mongolia, whose work explores themes of identity, migration, and memory. She started her photography career in Singapore and Bangkok to later working as a staff photographer in Mongolia for GEREG Magazine, while freelancing lifestyle photography to national political campaigns. She has had her work published in various publications, including AP, Forbes, The Diplomat, Musee Mag, FotoFilmic, and has been exhibited internationally in Bangkok, Paris, and New York.
Suniko is the recipient of the Arnold Newman Scholarship and the Director’s Fellowship from The International Center of Photography and graduated May 2023. She’s currently based back in Ulaanbaatar.
